WHAT TO SEE
Óbidos is a small medieval city and one of the few still with its walls from that time. Walking through the little streets, climbing the stairs of the wall and drinking ginja (liquor served in a chocolate cup) are the main things to do there
CAREFUL
The walk along the walls is incredible, you can almost go all the way around the city along the walls, but be careful as it is very high, has an uneven stone floor (can be slippery), narrow and has no protection on one side. If you do it carefully, it’s totally worth it!
